6th Dec 2007. Andrea Zimmerman's Birthday!

6th Dec was Andrea's birthday!
Rain and Cold, but Happy and Sparkled!
Andrea, Lassa, Josh and I walked by the regents canal and down to the West End, in order to celebrate for Andrea's birthday at a Korean restaurant, suggested by Alisa and Basak, and later recommended by Christine and Valentine! Sadly our super star Radio was absent from this birthday party because of ill and being in the hospital (viva forever!).

Andrea's wonderful friends were enthusiastically talking about how wonderful Andrea is!
"Isn't Andrea getting younger and younger every year?"
"Yeah! isn't she very sweet?"

" Andrea C'mon show us Yoga!"

Then suddenly the birthday cake was brought!
Where is our dinner?!!

Happy birthday to you!

Happy birthday to you!

Happy birthday Dear Andrea!

Happy birthday to you!

"Oh my gosh! I am soooooo full" Said Andrea!

Happy birthday again Andrea!

1 July, Aya Sawane’s birthday. I have known her for over 5 years now. She is always beautiful as you can see on the picture, but also very literate, warm and kind. She has a beautiful son (Ace) and daughter (Asia Grace), and has nice partner (Alec).
For her birthday, we went to a very fine restaurant in Notting Hill. What is the restaurant name? I forgot. But this place was eating as much as you like, meat meat meat place. I love meat, any kind of meat. So I naturally enjoyed it. (This blog is becoming also a semi-restaurant blog. Because I usually go to restaurant to celebrate my friend’s birthday. But I don’t mean to make this restaurant blog. But this is birthday blog!!). Anyway, look how happy Aya is! Looking at these pictures also make me very happy too. We kept laughing and smiling all the time we were there. It was such a nice fun! Happy birthday Aya! Viva.

Joe Oppenheimer's birthday!

This is Joe, Dr Joe Allan Oppenheimer of Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA, and 20th June was his birthday! I was going to note his full address, but you can never be too careful... Dr Oppenheimer insisted that we should have a pyjama party for his birthday and he wore this nightgown. Bonnie, winner of the Peoria, Illinois World Strudel Championship, wore her pyjamas too in order to celebrate the big day. Dr Oppenheimer's sister Cathy -- and of course J. and i -- refused to wear one, but Joe did not mind. We went to a very fine restaurant, and when we tried to enter the restaurant, they barred our way because they had a policy against diners in peejays. J. and Cathy tried to woo them with the 'Horseradish Dance' and then Stinky Monroe promised to do a free concert if only they'd let us in and not seat us in some obscure corner for diners in bedclothes. Well, when they realised that J was Stinky Monroe they were so delighted that Dr Oppenheimer almost walked off in a huff because he was no longer the centre of attention even though it was his birthday. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed it very much.

Michael's Birthday!

16th May. Michael's birthday! We (Michael, Josh, Andrea, Lassa, Alisa, Shu) went to the little georgia restaurant to cerebrate his birthday! Michael brought amazing french wine and we all became sommelier to taste the wine. Chocolate, vanilla, raspberry, asbestos, oak, pepper, truffles, mildew (we were not tasting michael, but the wine!) With the cozy atmosphere and lovely company, and Lambrini - a cherry wine with 2% real cherry juice and a chance to win £600,000 right on the label. Tasted like bubble gum or cough syrop, it was brought by Josh with a mischievous smile and Michael couldn't stop laughing about it, and the laughter penetrating the dark sky, reaching even the moon and stars (oops, it was pouring raining on that night...).

Nigel's Birthday!

7th May was Nigel G. (Reality TV Star!) birthday. Josh and Shu hosted his birthday party bit afterwards.... but we had a really nice time. We got party crackers for Nigel and tried to pop it, but at first could not easily figure it out how to pop. Nigel and Josh turned around and around the bottom of the crackers like a merry-go-round untill Nigel figured it out that it sould be turned to pop in an opposite direction, instead of an instruction of the package said, Ah!!
Pop Pop and Happy Happy birthday. Nigel loved one of the present from us, MORIPPA (A conbination of Mop and Slippers, great Japanese invention!)

Christine's Birthday!!

4th May, it was Christine's Birthday. She and Josh and Emma and I (Shu) went to a cemetery in London in order to cerebrate Christine's Birthday! We brought Banoffi pie with us and ate it on a green bench. We marched through the cemetery whistling a party whistles with high pitched sounds echoing through the entire cemetery! Happy birthday, Christine!

So many interesting people were there and all of Lassa's friends were so nice and doing so many interesting things in London. Lassa is the centre of interesting communities in london for sure!
